Application
1. Can be used as antioxidant: It is a very effective antioxidant for unstable organic liquids (such as chlorinated hydrocarbons, oils, ethers and aldehydes) at concentrations of 0.01% to 1.0%. In some cases, TBHQ is more potent than hydroquinone.
2. TBHQ is a very effective polymerization inhibitor for the storage process of unsaturated polyester and other polymerizable organic substances. Studies have shown that: under normal storage conditions, the inhibitory effect of TBHQ is very effective;
3. Can be used as a stabilizer: TBHQ is a good light and heat stabilizer for pressure-sensitive adhesives produced from polyester at a concentration of 0.5%. According to relevant reports, TBHQ as a stabilizer, its application is better than other similar products.
