Water-Soluble Polymer Polyvinylpyrrolidone PVP K15 For Water Treatment Membrane
Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) is a water-soluble linear polymer compound formed by the homopolymerization of monomer N-vinylpyrrolidone (NVP). It has functions such as colloid protection, film-forming, adhesion, hygroscopicity, solubilization or coagulation, and complexing ability with certain compounds. Polyvinylpyrrolidone has both hydrophilic and oleophilic groups within its molecule, making it soluble in both water and most organic solvents (such as alcohols, carboxylic acids, amines, halogenated hydrocarbons, etc.), with low toxicity and good physiological compatibility. The solubility of polyvinylpyrrolidone in water is only limited by its own viscosity.
